The ask

I had the good fortune to work at Famous Dave’s first as the Director of Design and Vice President of Design & Development from 2005 - 2007. The people at Famous Dave’s were amazing and I made a lot of good friends there. During my time there I designed a new prototype and developed a kit of parts that were used on all new and remodeled locations. The company wisely built new as well as remodeled older buildings but the brand lacked a clear brand look that was consistently applied.

Later I continued to work with Famous Dave’s providing design services for the Northern and Southern CA markets that were wanting a more refined vibe.

These projects updated the traditional BBQ look while maintaining the wood and relaxed feel the brand is known for.
